I’ve been asked a few times what tools I’m using to create, plan, and promote the deep dives I’m creating. I figured I’d make a list of tools I use regularly so I had an easy-to-share link.
Some of these are affiliate links, so I do earn a small commission at no additional cost to you if you choose to use my link when purchasing. If you do use these links, I thank you for helping keep the lights on over here 🙂
Website
I get asked all the time about how I built my website. Here are the tools I’m using:
WordPress is the free platform I use to build my website.
Yes, some might consider it old-school, but it's super powerful and best of all, it's free.
While WordPress is the foundation of my website, GeneratePress is the website theme I'm using.
It lets me build drag-and-drop pages with a ton of customizations I can add in as well.
ConvertBox is the tool I use quite a bit on my website. It helps me A/B test opt-in forms, create pop-ups and link triggers, quizzes, and personalized offers.
Yes, it's expensive but it's a one-time fee vs monthly.
Senja is the tool I'm using to collect and share testimonials.
Customers can record videos, or leave text testimonials that automatically get added to your site once approved.
My go-to graphics creator. It's how I add a custom background to all of my screenshots and tables.
Social Media Scheduling
I use these tools to schedule out some of my social media posts.
You know all of those great-looking carousels that look like someone screenshotted a tweet and designed it better? Tweetpik is how I create these.
It's a great tool that allows you to repurpose tweets into LinkedIn & Instagram carousels.

Talent and Hiring
My first business crashed and burned because I didn't get any help. I won't make that mistake again.
Athyna is a great place to find talent so you're not wearing all of the hats in your business.
From sales and marketing to creative and product. They source talent specific to your needs in just 5 days.
Email Marketing
My email service provider of choice. They integrate seamlessly with SparkLoop, have some of the best deliverability rates in the industry, and customer service is top-notch.
You can use them for free up to 10,000 subscribers.
Beehiiv is a great tool if you're just getting started and want a tool that incorporates your newsletter and website.
It's not as robust in terms of automations as ConvertKit, but it's a great tool on its own.
Courses & Communities
I talk a lot about communities and courses because they can help you skip a few steps on your journey. Instead of making all of the same mistakes others have made, you can leapfrog some of those and move faster.
Here are some of my favorite communities and courses to help you out.
This is my favorite community, hands down. Jay Clouse is a masterful community builder, so much so that it's currently on a waitlist to get in.
However, he launched a "Starter Tier" that includes all of his courses and workshops, and gets you on the waitlist to join when there is an opening.
Newsletter Blueprint Lab is a great community if you're running and building a newsletter. There are over 450 creators in there, including some bigger names that you might not have access to otherwise.
It's built on Discord, so you can ask questions and get feedback in real-time.
Justin Welsh's exact system for creating a high-quality newsletter and 6-12 pieces of high-performance social media content each week.
Unlock the potential of LinkedIn and accelerate the growth of your personal brand. This is the exact system I used to go from zero to 360k+ followers and $3M+ in income with zero paid ads.
