This is an application-based community for people who have been running newsletters and are looking to scale up or focus more heavily on their growth in 2025.

In short, here are some of the things you can expect:

1. Private Online Community

Join a community of passionate creators building their newsletters to have real conversations about growing a newsletter – what’s working, what’s not, experiments we’re trying, etc.

This is the place where you can ask specific questions you won’t find the answers to on Google.

The community and events live inside of Circle, which is accessible on desktop as well as through the Circle app.

2. Expert Guest Workshops

Through putting together loads of deep dives, I’ve built up a network of people who know quite a bit about building audiences and growing newsletters.

And I’m bringing some of these folks come share their ideas and methods for growth with us. This might even include some folks from past deep dives.

3. Live Community Calls

Regular calls to ask questions, get feedback, and generally just share what’s working.

We’ll also bring together people with similar audiences or using similar tools can come together and talk about what’s working.

Whether it’s a dedicated Substack call, or a braintrust around LinkedIn growth, there are lots of specific calls happening each month.

4. Opportunities to Collaborate

We’ve already had a few posts about running cross promotions with other members and it’s getting great engagement.

I’ve seen a number of cross promotions happening between Pro members newsletters and I hear they’re going great!

5. Group Challenges

Group Challenges are where we work on the same type of project for 30 days. This includes accountability calls and opportunities to get feedback on your work along the way.

January was our LinkedIn Challenge – we have a leaderboard and lots of live sessions sharing what’s working, etc.

The next challenge launches next week and it’s all around getting better with Sponsorships.

We’ll have 3 live calls and a dedicated space to get feedback along the way.

I’m also sharing some behind-the-scenes stuff around what I’m seeing work, etc.

FAQs

I live outside the US, what time will the calls be scheduled?

I’m working on trying to be the most accommodating for all time zones, but it is challenging. Right now, it seems like around 11am to 12pm EST is the time that works best, but I will try to schedule other calls at different times to make sure everyone has a chance to join live. I realize this isn’t a great solution, but if you can’t make some of them, most of the calls will be recorded as well.

Why do you only have annual payment plans?

A community is an investment, not only of money but also time. I want to be able to invest that time into members throughout the year and not have people jumping in and out. By having everyone commit to a year, you’ll get to know other members and not be worried they’re going to disappear in a few weeks. Plus, it feels more settled, and I like that.

How much time should I plan to invest each week?

This isn’t a course or list of tasks for you to check off each week – it’s a living, breathing resource. You can spend 20 minutes in there, or you can spend a few hours a week interacting with members, joining live calls, and sharing ideas. The goal is that you’ll find something to test out, a helpful conversation, or an experiment to run and you can go do that thing instead of (and report back of course!)
